Since its incorporation, Domodedovo Aircraft Maintenance Base (JSC ATB Domodedovo) has been the leader in aircraft maintenance and repair in Russia and the CIS. To date, over 150 Russian and foreign airlines operating Russian-make aircraft have been serviced here.

ATB Domodedovo provides the following types of aircraft maintenance:

• on-line and routine maintenance;
• reconditioning of aircraft components;
• extension of aircraft service life;
• engine replacement;
• calibration checks for measuring instruments;
• prediction, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and nondestructive inspection of aviation equipment;
• processing and analyzing flight information.

Over 1,600 highly-qualified engineers and technicians are employed by JSC ATB Domodedovo. The company's 40,000 sq. m hangar complex can accommodate two wide-body aircraft (such as the IL-96) at a time. This is the largest facility of its kind in the CIS.

With its own state-of-the-art laboratory for repair and maintenance of radio electronics, electric and navigation equipment fitted to meet high technical requirements, ATB Domodedovo is capable to offer the full range of avionics services. ATB Domodedovo is the headquarters for repair and maintenance of Ilyushin and Tupolev aircraft.

Additionally, the Aircraft Certification Center was instituted to perform aircraft inspections as to their compliance with statutory requirements and to issue airworthiness certificates. The Center's provides services to airlines operating IL-62M, IL-76, IL-86, IL-96, TU-134, TU-154 and similar aircraft.

ATB Domodedovo cooperates with Russian and foreign airlines in the following areas:

• analysis and interpretation of flight information and monitoring aircraft's service paperwork;
• monitoring service paperwork for aircraft servicing equipment.

ATB Domodedovo partners with over 60 airline maintenance centers and aviation engineering facilities of Russian, CIS and foreign airports.

Company's long-term development plans provide for performing Standard F-4 aircraft maintenance for IL-96 and similar aircraft and subsequent development of maintenance services for IL96-400, AN-148, TU-204 and TU-214 and similar aircraft. Standard F-4 is the most complex type of maintenance for this type of aircraft, involving virtually complete disassembling of the interior, control blades, engines, integral units and other aircraft components. To achieve these objectives, the company will continue training and retraining of the personnel, purchasing new equipment and expanding its hangar space.
