In 2005, a new independent company was established within EAST LINE Group – Domodedovo Airport Development (DAD).

The main objective of the company is to ensure economically effective use of the Group’s land assets located both in the immediate proximity of the airport and at a sufficient distance from the airport through attraction of investments and implementation of developer projects.

One of the strategic areas of Domodedovo Airport Development operations is to ensure implementation of the concept of integrated use of different purpose real estate facilities located within a 35 km radius of the airport. This concept is being implemented through the Airport City and Aerotropolis large-scale projects.

The Airport City project comprises:

• Domodedovo Plaza. Multiplex movie theatre, entertainment complex, game zone for children and a shopping mall;
• Cafes and restaurants;
• 400-room hotel adjacent to the planned passenger terminal;
• Exhibition centers, business facilities;
• Office centers and business parks;
• Logistic parks, production facilities to process different goods;
• Bus terminal connecting Domodedovo airport with Krasnogvardeyskaya metro station;
• Multi-level parking, gas filling station.

The short-term plans encompass construction of a modern 4* hotel, construction of Domodedovo Plaza shopping and entertainment center, construction of a multi-level parking near the airport and an office center with conference and exhibition halls.
