JSC DOMODEDOVO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT has evolved from the Capital Development Department of EAST LINE Group. It acts as a functional center consolidating Domodedovo Moscow International Airport facilities construction and reconstruction management activities. JSC DOMODEDOVO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT is also qualified to act as construction project owner/developer for over 140 facilities of various complexity, managing the full cycle of construction and reconstruction of buildings and facilities. To achieve these objectives, the company's activities are organized in the following areas:
There are over 100 highly skilled construction specialists employed by the company today. The professionalism of the staff and efficient process management have been key factors determining company's successful operations. Most employees possess extensive experience related to companies acting as construction owners/developers, primary contractors and engineers. JSC DOMODEDOVO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT specialists organize and conduct expert reviews of project documentation and develop tailor-made, ambitious technical and design solutions. Contractors employ contemporary construction technologies and state-of-the-art equipment that are applied in and used throughout Domodedovo Moscow International Airport facilities. Furthermore, regular surveys of the construction materials market are conducted to develop professional recommendations for their use in specific projects. A stringent two-stage tender procedure is applied in prospective contractors selection process. The shortlisting criteria include applicant's experience and quality of past work as well as its financial solvency and business standing. Regulatory framework of construction projects is based on government regulations and standards of the construction industry (GOST, SNiP, VSN etc.), its specific features and customs as well as internationally accepted construction projects practices. At the heart of the company's work is a special focus on rendering a unique, distinct corporate style to the design of the interiors, general arrangement of the building clusters and other structures within the airport complex. As a result of JSC DOMODEDOVO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT activities, Domodedovo Airport's passenger terminal has undergone remarkable changes. Meanwhile, a new building for cargo clients and buildings for technical crews are being completed. The airport's power supply issues have been addressed alongside new construction projects. Currently, new cable lines are being laid, the water pipeline and the airport's central boiler house are under reconstruction, and a new co-generation plant is being designed. A new boiler house for centralized aircraft fueling station has already been completed. 2008 promises to be as fruitful as previous years. New passenger terminal spaces will soon be commissioned, while designing and construction of the following facilities are in progress: a second passenger terminal within the existing one (Domodedovo-2); a multi-level parking; a hangar of the aircraft maintenance base for airlines; business aviation terminals; cargo terminal spaces expansion; a new water pumping station; second building for cargo clients; and buildings for government authorities. The company also plans to start expanding the federal and internal airport motorways, and to increase the Petrol, Oil and Lubricants (POL) storage spaces and the centralized aircraft fueling system. The company will continue working on the airport's most important infrastructure facilities - Landing Areas 1 and 2, aprons, taxiways, including the most complicated 'spider' taxiway network. Also, an airfield radar, sewage treatment facilities and emergency and rescue services are planned for construction and installation.
