The primary objective of JSC DOMODEDOVO JET SERVICE fuel station is to continuously and safely fill aircrafts with certified jet petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) conforming to international standards. JSC DOMODEDOVO JET SERVICE is responsible for receipt, storage, preparation, quality control and filling services for POL and special liquids.
The fuel station offers its customers a variety of modern equipment, structures, technologies and highly skilled employees. Domodedovo Moscow International Airport is among the few in Russia with a Pressure Refueling System (PRS) for fully automated aircraft fuelling process. Its capacity is 900 cu. m/h. The storage capacity of the tank farm is 34,000 tons. Other capacities of the fuel farm include:
For aircraft filling, Domodedovo Airport uses the Russian jet fuel - TS-1 and RT - certified for use on aircrafts with turboprop and turbojet engines, including Pratt & Whitney and General Electric type engines. Thus, the fuel supply system of Domodedovo Airport is the most advanced in Russia and CIS both in terms of versatile equipment and applied technologies. The range of services also include purchase and storage of new generation deicing fluids of Type 1 (Octagon) or Type 4 (MaxFlight) and procuring the Group companies with such fluids. The fuel farm is growing dynamically: mobile refueling units are being regularly upgraded and the PRS is being renewed and expanded. The pool of fuel tankers and refueling units as well as modern fuel tanker loading and fuel filtration stations are continuously growing. After the upcoming upgrade of the railway rack, the fuel station will be able to simultaneously receive up to 44 rail car tanks. Further development of PRS goes in parallel with reconstruction and widening of the airport apron with an underlying pipeline network. Alongside the apron reconstruction, aircraft parking areas are being upgraded and additionally equipped with PRS. Introduction of a computer-aided fuel accounting system is planned in order to optimize real time record availability and accuracy with regard to aviation POL settlements. The system will improve the measurement accuracy of supplied and stored fuel and will also lead to higher safety levels in operation of the airport's fuel supply facilities. Address: |
