Some 9,000 employees representing more than 170 professions work in EAST LINE Group. Three-fourths of the personnel have higher and specialised secondary education. EAST LINE Group's personnel represent one of the youngest in the Russian industry, with an average age of 37.
The Group's Education Centre was established to improve work quality and boost professional skills. The Centre provides professional skills improvement courses as well as foreign languages courses. The Group sends its personnel to international education centres abroad to study certain professions. Some 1,000 people go through improvement skills and preparation courses every year.
Since 1999, EAST LINE Group has successfully performed the Inflow special programme, which helps young personnel gain insights into new perspective professions at Domodedovo Airport and EAST LINE Airline, and provides a continuity of skills and experience gained by the Group. In 1999-2002 thanks to Inflow programme more than 1,000 young specialists started working in EAST LINE Group.
Only in the first half-year of 2002 some 276 young employees were hired.
The entire management structure of EAST LINE Group is based on the united integrated management system, which includes evaluation of expenses, resources and investment, as well as medium- and long-term marketing capabilities of all companies.
The Group's use of the Lotus Notes system has allowed it to shorten time for decision making, to establish a strict control for decision implementation and provide collective leadership and transparency in handling important decisions and documents.
Introduction of the ERP corporate information system has taken financial, material and human resources management to a new level of quality, and reduced management expenses. The ERP system allows to reduce manufacture and economical systems development, introduction and operational expenses, enables the establishment of a flexible, quick-reacting environment, allowing to automate the technologies of the business-process performance.
