Domodedovo Airport Complex comprises companies offering the full line of services to airlines and passengers, as well as managing Moscow Airport Domodedovo, including the development of non-aeronautical businesses.

The Group incorporates 14 companies:

Immediately upon becoming Domodedovo Moscow International Airport's management company, EAST LINE Group launched a large-scale airport reconstruction project encompassing the entire airport infrastructure. As early as 2001, Domodedovo received the "Best CIS Airport" award from Airport CIS Civil Aviation Association. A year later, EAST LINE Group, together with OJSC Russian Railways commissioned Aeroexpress to link Domodedovo Moscow International Airport with the city center.

The airport partners with 75 carriers including 31 Russian, 29 international and 15 CIS national airlines. This is the largest number of airlines among Moscow airports. The unique and the widest route network of our partner airlines covers over 220 domestic and international destinations, of which 105 are available only from Domodedovo airport.

In 2007, overall passenger traffic reached 18.7 million people, while cargo traffic exceeded 113 thousand tons. Domodedovo's share in Moscow aviation hub constitutes 48 per cent.

Rapid development, state-of-the-art infrastructure, excellent service and security, advanced business and technology innovations attract the growing number of Russian and international airlines. Within the last two years Domodedovo was chosen by Austrian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Royal Jordanian Airlines, NIKI, Eurofly, Wind Jet, bmi, JAL and several other industry leaders.

The attractiveness of the airport is determined by a number of factors:

  • high capacity of two independent runways and reconstructed passenger terminal;
  • opportunities for extensive growth. The Airport Development Master Plan provides for reserving 13 000 ha for construction of new runways, passenger terminals and correspondent infrastructure;
  • 24 hours operations and minimum weather constraints;
  • dedicated transport communications, including a branch railway and a highway, providing connection between the airport and the capital. High-speed railway connection with Moscow city center and availability of check-in at Paveletsky train station terminal substantially save passengers' time given the ever-increasing traffic intensity;
  • the most developed domestic route network covering all regions of the country and linking Moscow with CIS and international destinations provide convenient transfer connections;
  • the airport's modern infrastructure and technical sophistication which stem from best international practices and EAST LINE Group's own solutions.

EAST LINE Group's strategic objective in terms of developing Domodedovo Moscow International Airport is to develop a multimodal transportation hub connecting European and Asia-Pacific air traffic.
To achieve this objective, the following measures are to be taken:

  • increasing Domodedovo airport's capacity by constructing new terminals as an extension of the existing one;
  • developing transfer technologies and arranging efficient flight connections for foreign and domestic airlines to attract more transfer passengers;
  • introducing advanced airport technologies and new services within intensive innovation process.
